CAMELIA AND NIGHTINGALE
Designed: February 2021
A WallPimps edit of Camelia and Nightingale by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), born Andō Hiroshige, was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist (Japanese wood print artist), considered the last great master of that tradition.
All our prints are giclee printed with a professional Canon printer. Giclée is a French term meaning “to spray”, referring to how an inkjet printer works and how giclee prints are usually produced. These large format inkjet printers use small spraying devices that can both match color and apply ink precisely, giving artists a high-quality print of their original art.
The ink on these prints should last 80 years with a glass protection (frame) and 50 years without any protection.
For this artwork we chose a 200gsm matte “BioTop’ paper, the paper has a slight off-white tone that we think works best with a graphic print. We hand selected all our printing paper to make sure you get the best result.
